'Door to door'
We travel to Port Sunlight for our included visit. We begin with a self-guided tour of the museum which tells of Lever's vision, the founding of the village and how soap making led to the development of the village and factory life. We then meet our guide who will bring to life the story of the village, its factory workers and village residents during our journey taking in the varied architecture, intriguing stories and delightful tree-lined roads of the village life.
After our visit we make the short journey to Liverpool's Albert Dock for free time. There's lots of choice here for things to do, including The Beatles Story, Tate Liverpool, Merseyside Maritime Museum and the International Slavery Museum. If you prefer a little retail therapy, nip across to Liverpool One!
