· Monday: We enjoy a visit to Amble, dubbed ‘the friendliest port’ and a delightful seaside town. The Amble Harbour Village is home to independent retail pods and Seafood Centre. Following our free time here we continue to the thriving market town of Alnwick with time to explore.
· Tuesday: We head across country to the lovely market town of Hexham which has a wealth of history and beautiful Abbey. From here, we make our way back to South Shields where we spend some free time before returning to the hotel.
· Wednesday: We make our way to the historic county town of Morpeth, with its unique combination of history, heritage & beauty. Following time here we continue to Otterburn Mill. The Mill has a rich heritage, reflecting the rise and passing of the industrial revolution. The main mill buildings date back to the mid 18th century. After this visit we make our way back to the hotel.
